NMC Royal Hospital, Khalifa City (Abu Dhabi) is hiring a Specialist Pediatrician to deliver ethical, high‑quality OP/IP pediatric care, manage clinical risk, uphold governance standards, and maintain accurate medical records while pursuing continuous professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric care: daily OPD clinics, inpatient management, and general/special exams.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging; diagnose conditions; prescribe treatment; advise on nursing/dietary care; and apply preventive measures.
• Serve as a pediatric consultant to the Surgery and OB/Gyn departments, providing technical assistance as needed.
• Attend newborn and difficult/cesarean deliveries; provide newborn inpatient care; and maintain on‑call coverage for pediatric emergencies.
• Monitor and mitigate clinical risks; ensure compliance with clinical governance and quality standards; and keep thorough documentation.
• Stay current through literature review and participate in in-service training and physicians’ conferences.
• Adhere to OSHMS and Infection Prevention & Control standards (hand hygiene 5 moments, bare‑below‑the‑elbows).

Qualifications

• Basic medical degree plus a recognized specialty qualification/education (fellowship/diploma) per UAE healthcare authority standards.
• 3–5 years’ post‑qualification experience at a Specialist level, including at least 1 year in a Tier‑1 country (per UAE regulator).
• Certification/registration recognized by the relevant UAE healthcare authority; eligibility such as Royal College membership, Arab Board, MS/DM/MPhil or equivalent.
• Active life support certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP).
• Strong ethics, communication, and teamwork skills; meticulous record‑keeping; proficiency in English (Arabic is desirable).
