NMC Royal Hospital Sharjah is seeking a dedicated and supportive Assistant Nurse for our Outpatient Department (OPD). Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will contribute to the planning and delivery of patient-centered care. This role is essential for assisting with daily patient activities, monitoring conditions, and ensuring a safe, high-quality care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care according to the therapeutic plan under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene and meal distribution.
• Accurately monitor, record, and report vital signs and any changes in a patient's condition to the Registered Nurse.
• Assist physicians and Registered Nurses with procedures and perform services requiring technical and manual skills.
• Perform routine nursing procedures, such as ECGs, as per the assigned clinic's requirements.
• Reinforce instructions given to patients and assist in scheduling follow-up appointments.
• Ensure all medical equipment is in good working order and maintain a safe patient environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold an appropriate license to practice as an Assistant Nurse from the relevant UAE health authority (MOH).
• Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider card.
• Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably in an OPD or multi-specialty clinic.
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
• Strong observational skills and the ability to work effectively under supervision.
• Willingness to work across departments and be on call when necessary.
