Assistant Nurse - OB/GYN Clinic | NMC Royal Hospital, Abu Dhabi

NMC Royal Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Nurse for our Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Outpatient Department. You will work collaboratively with a team of physicians and registered nurses to provide patient-centered care, assist in various procedures, and ensure a safe and supportive environment for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist providers with gynecological exams, prenatal visits, colposcopies, IUD insertions/removals, and other in-office procedures.
• Prepare patients for medical examinations and treatments, and record vital signs.
• Administer medications, injections, and immunizations as per clinic protocols and under supervision.
• Provide basic wound care and assist in invasive or non-invasive medical procedures as needed.
• Educate patients and provide emotional support to them and their families.
• Ensure infection control standards and patient safety practices are strictly followed.
• Maintain and update patient records and assist with clinic administration.

Qualifications

• Must hold an appropriate license to practice as an Assistant Nurse or Registered Nurse from the DOH (Abu Dhabi).
• Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider card.
• Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably in an OB/GYN or women's health clinic.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Arabic language skills are desirable.
