NMC Specialty Hospital, Dubai is seeking a Specialist in Dermatology to deliver professional, ethical, and high‑quality dermatologic care. The role focuses on managing clinical risks, ensuring compliance with clinical governance and quality standards, maintaining accurate medical records, and engaging in continuous professional development, while upholding OSH and Infection Control policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, ethical, and high‑quality dermatology clinical services efficiently and effectively.
• Monitor and manage clinical risks associated with direct patient care; escalate concerns appropriately.
• Ensure compliance with clinical governance and quality management standards.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical records.
• Commit to continuous professional development (CPD) for self and support learning for others.
• Uphold integrity and ethical standards in all clinical services and patient interactions.
• Comply with OSHMS: use PPE, follow safe work procedures, know emergency/evacuation protocols, assist with risk assessments, report hazards/incidents/near misses, reduce/reuse/recycle waste, and attend OSH trainings, audits, and drills.
• Adhere to Infection Prevention & Control (PCI) policies: strict hand hygiene (5 moments), bare‑below‑the‑elbows, and environmental care.

Qualifications

• At least 3–5 years’ post‑qualification experience at Specialist level (independent of country).
• At least 1 year Specialist‑level experience from a Tier 1 country (as specified by the UAE healthcare regulator).
• Basic medical degree and completion of a specialty qualification/education program (fellowship/diploma) recognized by the relevant UAE healthcare authority.
• Certification and registration in a specialty recognized by the UAE healthcare authority; active and valid life support certification (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP).
• Eligibility for registration with the relevant UAE healthcare authority (e.g., Royal College Membership, Arab Board Certification, MS/DM/MPhil or equivalent recognized by the UAE regulator).
