NMC Specialty Hospital, Dubai is hiring a Registered Nurse for Maternity. Aligned with NMC’s Vision, Mission, and Values (Safety, Excellence, Ethics, Trust, Collaboration), you will provide safe, compassionate, and individualized care to mothers and newborns while collaborating closely with the multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities:

Deliver maternity-focused nursing care across antenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum phases; provide family education and emotional support.
Perform systematic assessment and reassessment; analyze data, determine nursing diagnoses, define outcomes, and develop/evaluate care plans with the interprofessional team.
Record vital signs; recognize and escalate deterioration using Early Warning Systems and AHA emergency algorithms.
Prepare patients for examinations and treatments; assist with invasive and non-invasive procedures.
Administer medications; manage IV fluids/blood products; monitor and document side effects/adverse reactions; provide wound care.
Facilitate safe admissions, transfers, and discharges; maintain accurate, confidential documentation.
Promote infection prevention and control (5 moments of hand hygiene, bare-below-the-elbows) and a safe environment.
Participate in quality improvement, incident reporting, audits; uphold DOH/DHA/MOH/MOHAP and accreditation standards; support ANCC Pathway to Excellence.
Engage in continuous learning, mandatory training, competencies, mentorship/preceptorship; ensure device competency per the NMC Nurse Competency Framework.
Uphold professionalism and ethics; work within scope and competence; delegate appropriately; advocate for patient safety.
Support DEIB initiatives, safeguarding of children/vulnerable adults, and OSHMS requirements (PPE use, emergency procedures, hazard reporting).
Qualifications:

Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse with the relevant UAE regulatory authority; able to manage re-licensure.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider card.
Willingness to work across departments when needed.
Clear, effective English communication (spoken and written); Arabic desirable.
Desirable: Evidence of interprofessional teamwork and EMR proficiency.
