NMC Royal Hospital is seeking a highly experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead and ensure the high performance of our pharmacy department. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting patient needs, ensuring compliance with MOH regulations, managing inventory, and serving as a key advisory source for medical staff. This role involves developing strategic plans, policies, and procedures to coordinate and enhance pharmacy services across all hospital departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement strategic plans, operation plans, manpower plans, and budgets for the pharmacy department.
• Set and ensure full implementation of all pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Monitor pharmacy store purchases, stock levels, and expiration dates.
• Liaise with the MOH on approvals, inspections, licensing, and other pharmaceutical issues.
• Evaluate staff performance, conduct monthly meetings, and provide on-the-job training for new hires.
• Manage the import of unavailable/non-registered medicines and ensure the availability of all life-saving medications.
• Oversee the purchase, dispensing, and registration of narcotics, and submit consumption reports to the MOH.
• Participate in quality improvement and accreditation activities to ensure programs are effectively implemented.
• Resolve administrative, financial, and customer-related pharmacy issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy degree. A Master's Degree in Hospital Pharmacy Management is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a hospital pharmacy setting.
• Must hold a valid MOH / DHA license.
• Proven experience in strategic planning, budget management, and staff leadership.
• Strong knowledge of MOH regulations and pharmacy operations.
