NMC Specialty Hospital in Dubai is seeking a dedicated Specialist in Neurology to provide comprehensive, high-quality clinical services to patients. This role involves managing clinical risks, upholding clinical governance standards, and contributing to a culture of continuous professional development, patient safety, and infection control.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, professional, and ethical clinical services to patients in an effective and efficient manner.
- Monitor and manage clinical risks associated with direct patient care, ensuring compliance with clinical governance and quality management standards.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for all patients.
- Commit to continuous professional development to ensure excellence in medical practice.
- Execute clinical services in an ethical and responsible manner to maintain integrity.
- Comply with all Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) policies, use appropriate PPE, and participate in safety training, drills, and audits.
- Report OSH hazards, incidents, and near misses to ensure a safe working environment.
- Adhere to the Prevention and Control of Infection (PCI) policy, maintaining the highest standards of hygiene to reduce infection risks.
Qualifications
- Basic medical degree and completion of a specialty qualification/education program (fellowship/diploma) recognized by the relevant UAE healthcare authority.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ post-qualification experience as a Specialist.
- At least 1 year of Specialist level experience from a Tier 1 country as specified by the UAE healthcare regulator.
- Certification and registration in a specialty recognized by the relevant UAE healthcare authority (e.g., Royal College, Arab Board, MS, DM).
- Active and valid life support certification (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP).
- Eligibility for relevant UAE healthcare authority registration.
