NMC Royal Hospital in Sharjah is looking for a dedicated and skilled General Practitioner to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering a positive patient experience by providing expert medical service, maintaining precise and accurate documentation, and upholding the highest standards of safety and infection control within a dynamic team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and understand patient needs, ensuring clear communication with both patients and the healthcare team.
• Deliver expert medical service within your scope, performing all tasks precisely and accurately in accordance with set procedures.
• Focus on delivering a consistently positive patient experience, keeping patients informed and involved in their care decisions.
• Align individual work to support and meet team goals, participating actively to build a positive team spirit.
• Comply with all Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) policies, use appropriate PPE, and participate in safety training, drills, and audits.
• Report any OSH hazards, incidents, or near misses to maintain a safe environment for all.
• Adhere strictly to the Prevention and Control of Infection (PCI) policy, including hand hygiene and environmental care, to minimize infection risks.

Qualifications

• At least 2–3 years’ experience in a relevant specialized department (ICU) in a private hospital setting.
• Work experience from a Tier 1 country as specified by the UAE healthcare regulator.
• Basic medical degree recognized by the relevant UAE healthcare authority.
• Diploma or additional training in a specialty recognized by the relevant UAE healthcare authority.
• Active and valid life support certification (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP).
