American Hospital Dubai is seeking a skilled and certified CT / MRI Technologist to join our advanced Medical Imaging Department. The ideal candidate will perform a full range of CT and MRI examinations, ensure the daily operational efficiency of the scanners, and assist practitioners in various diagnostic and interventional procedures, all while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and image quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of CT and MRI examinations according to established protocols to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Manage the daily operations of CT/MRI scanners, including patient scheduling, equipment maintenance, and quality assessment.
• Assist radiologists and licensed practitioners with diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional CT/MRI procedures.
• Strictly adhere to all radiation (ALARA) and MRI safety protocols to ensure the well-being of patients, self, and others.
• Review patient history and physician requests to ensure the appropriate imaging protocol is used.
• Prepare, identify, and administer contrast media as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
• Coordinate with radiologists and other healthcare staff to ensure excellent patient care and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement programs and maintain professional growth and development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Radiography, Radiology Technology, or Medical Imaging.
• Must hold a valid Dubai Health Authority (DHA) License and active registration from country of origin.
• Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience as a CT/MRI Technologist.
• Comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Expert knowledge of radiation protection (ALARA) and MRI safety procedures.
• Fluent in both spoken and written English.
