Cath Lab Nurse (RN) - American Hospital, Dubai

American Hospital Dubai is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Nurse to join our advanced Heart Centre. You will be responsible for providing direct, age-specific care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. This role requires professional performance, a commitment to safe patient care, and adherence to JCI standards in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Assist with advanced procedures including pacemaker insertions, percutaneous coronary interventions (CTO), and ECMO management.
• Perform continual critical care assessments, including hemodynamic monitoring and rhythm interpretation.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, including interventional cardiologists and technologists, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer conscious sedation and other cardiac medications as per protocol.
• Maintain a safe and sterile environment and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly.
• Document all patient care accurately and participate in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (minimum 3-year full-time course duration).
• Must hold a valid license/registration to practice in your home country (DHA eligibility required).
• Minimum of two (2) years of recent post-graduate experience in Cardiology Nursing, a Heart Centre, or a Cath Lab.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. ACLS is highly preferred.
• Strong skills in patient assessment, care coordination, and prioritization in a critical care setting.
• Knowledge of cardiac procedures, hemodynamics, and emergency protocols.
