Consultant – ENT Surgeon (Otolaryngologist, Dubai Hospital)

📋 Full Job Description:

🔍 Position Overview:

• Full-time Consultant-Level position in the ENT Surgery Department
• Involves the surgical and non-surgical management of complex otolaryngology conditions

🩺 Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat ENT disorders such as:
  • Chronic sinusitis, hearing loss, nasal obstruction, laryngeal disease, head & neck tumors
• Perform advanced ENT surgical procedures including:
  • Endoscopic sinus surgery, septoplasty, tonsillectomy, cochlear implantation, and microsurgery
• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams (audiology, radiology, neurology, oncology, etc.)
• Provide pre- and post-surgical patient care with proper education and follow-up
• Participate in clinical audits, research contributions, and ensure international best practices are upheld
• Maintain detailed patient records in compliance with DHA standards
• Educate junior medical staff and engage in CME sessions

🎓 Requirements:

• Medical Degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Otolaryngology / ENT Surgery
• Board certification required (e.g., American Board, UK CCT, FRCS, Canadian, or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Consultant ENT Surgeon
• Must be Western-trained (USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Europe)
• Proven experience with advanced ENT surgical techniques
• Excellent patient communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
• Must be eligible or licensed with Dubai Health Authority (DHA)
