American Hospital Dubai is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Staff Nurse for our specialized Breast Care Clinic. You will provide direct, patient-centered care to adult and geriatric populations, playing a crucial role in coordinating care and assisting with a variety of diagnostic and interventional breast health procedures. This position requires a dedicated professional committed to supporting patients through their diagnostic journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in specialized procedures, including Ultrasound-Guided Core Biopsies, Stereotactic Biopsies, and Breast Fine Needle Aspirations (FNA).
• Provide support during pre-surgical procedures such as Seed Placement and Wire Localization.
• Perform comprehensive, age-specific patient assessments and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to create care plans.
• Coordinate and prioritize patient care, involving patients and their families in the planning process to address physical and psychological needs.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the medical record in accordance with hospital and JCIA standards.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff, adhering to all safety and infection control protocols.
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and maintain professional competency in breast care nursing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (minimum 3-year full-time course duration).
• Minimum of two (2) years of recent post-graduate experience in a Breast Care setting.
• Must hold a valid license/registration to practice in your home country and/or country of last employment.
• A valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) is essential.
• Strong skills in the assessment of patient and family's physical and psychological needs, especially in an oncology or surgical setting.
• Ability to render care based on the age, appropriateness, and developmental needs of patients.
