Assistant Nurse (OPD) - Sharjah, UAE | Sunny NMC Maysaloon

Sunny NMC Maysaloon in Sharjah is hiring a compassionate Assistant Nurse for the Outpatient Department (OPD). In this full-time role, you will work under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) to deliver safe, patient-centered care, assist with activities of daily living, reinforce patient education, and ensure accurate documentation in line with evidence-based guidelines and unit competencies.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist RNs in assessing and implementing patient care plans; monitor and report patient observations and significant changes promptly.
• Support activities of daily living (meals, hygiene, mobility) by care plans.
• Provide direct patient care aligned with the therapeutic plan and individual needs.
• Understand basic medication indications, recognize potential side effects, and report to the RN.
• Accurately document care provided in the patient’s official record.
• Reinforce instructions given by physicians and RNs; refer new educational needs to the RN.
• Facilitate post-discharge processes, including scheduling follow-up and referral appointments, arranging tests, and coordinating transportation.
• Respond to emergencies at all levels in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Maintain the flow of documents for scanning and administrative accuracy.
• Uphold patient dignity and rights; act as a patient advocate at all times.

• Seek clarification when in doubt and escalate to senior colleagues when care exceeds competence or scope.
   

  Qualifications:

• BSc Nursing or GNM.
