Here's what you'll be doing:
- Providing consultative evaluations and treatments for patients referred from other hospital sections and affiliated VA outpatient clinics.
- Conducting initial evaluations, documentation, diagnoses, and ordering appropriate diagnostic studies and treatments.
- Delivering emergency hematology/oncology services as assigned.
- Performing administrative functions and other tasks assigned by the Associate Chief of Staff of Acute Medical Service.
- Ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality care across all assigned duties.
What you'll need to have:
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current, full, and unrestricted medical license from any U.S. state or territory.
- Completed residency training approved by ACGME or AOA leading to board eligibility. Board Certified or Board Eligible is preferred.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Salary Range:
$300,000 - $385,000 per year
