Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Providing consultative evaluations and treatments for patients referred from other hospital sections and affiliated VA outpatient clinics.
  • Conducting initial evaluations, documentation, diagnoses, and ordering appropriate diagnostic studies and treatments.
  • Delivering emergency hematology/oncology services as assigned.
  • Performing administrative functions and other tasks assigned by the Associate Chief of Staff of Acute Medical Service.
  • Ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality care across all assigned duties.

What you'll need to have:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current, full, and unrestricted medical license from any U.S. state or territory.
  • Completed residency training approved by ACGME or AOA leading to board eligibility. Board Certified or Board Eligible is preferred.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Job Details

Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Salary Range:

$300,000 - $385,000 per year
