Description

Lead the Pulmonary Section at STVHCS in San Antonio. Combine admin leadership, staff oversight, and direct patient care in a top VA training hospital with relocation help and EDRP up to $200K.

Here's what you'll be doing:

• Handle admin leadership: staff meetings, communication, issue briefs, and acting Service Chief as needed.
• Manage HR: hiring, position descriptions, proficiency reports, OPPE/FPPE.
• Oversee staff: ratings, peer reviews, training, disciplinary actions.
• Drive business planning: workloads, FTE, resources, quality, and patient safety.
• Provide direct/virtual pulmonary/critical care patient services.

What you'll need to have:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Current, full, unrestricted U.S. medical license.
• Completed accredited residency/fellowship in Pulmonary/Critical Care; board certified/eligible.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Preferred: 5+ years practice, 2+ years leadership/supervisory experience.
