General Surgeon - Albany NY | $275K-$375K + Sign-on

Description

Bring your surgical skills to the Albany Stratton VA Medical Center. You'll handle full-spectrum general surgery, teach residents, care for Veterans, and score a sign-on bonus plus up to $200K in loan repayment.

Here's what you'll be doing:

• Manage clinical, administrative, and academic aspects of the general surgery program.
• Perform major and minor surgeries with pre- and post-op care.
• Provide consultations for inpatients and outpatients.
• Supervise residents and participate in teaching.
• Share on-call rotation covering nights, weekends, and holidays.

What you'll need to have:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Current, full, unrestricted U.S. license to practice surgery.
• Completed accredited residency in general surgery.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Preferred: Fellowship in surgical oncology, robotic or wound care experience.
