Description

Sutter Roseville Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse II to join our Medical-Surgical unit. You will be accountable for the assessment, coordination, and delivery of holistic nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and care transitions. This role requires fostering collaborative relationships between patients, families, and the healthcare team to promote an optimal patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care that incorporate psychological, spiritual, and sociocultural factors.
• Deliver direct patient care, including comprehensive assessment, intervention, and evaluation in an acute care setting.
• Foster collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely and effective communication.
• Ensure patient safety by adhering to all hospital policies, industry standards, and best practices.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to identify and solve routine or complex patient care problems.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of California.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent, relevant experience in a medical-surgical or acute care setting.
• Strong knowledge of nursing theories, concepts, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
