Hayden VA Medical Center in Phoenix is seeking a full-time Radiologist to join our comprehensive imaging team. Phoenix Radiology serves central Arizona Veterans with a full spectrum of services including Vascular and Interventional, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Breast Imaging, Diagnostic Radiology, and MRI. You'll work in a collegial environment with competitive pay ranging from $300,000 to $400,000 annually, plus a potential 25% sign-on incentive for highly qualified candidates. Here's what you'll be doing:

• Providing direct patient care 90-100% of your time, including evaluating and prioritizing radiology orders, protocolling complex imaging exams, and delivering timely, accurate reports
• Interpreting a variety of complex imaging studies across multiple modalities such as CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, and diagnostic radiography
• Notifying providers of critical imaging results and ordering appropriate laboratory studies and hydration protocols for CT exams
• Performing interventional procedures if applicable to your area of practice
• Participating in random peer review, quality improvement projects, and systems redesign initiatives
• Sharing on-call responsibilities with the department to ensure coverage outside regular hours

What you'll need to have:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an approved school
• Completed residency training in Radiology approved by ACGME or AOA
• Current, full, and unrestricted medical license from any U.S. state or territory
• Board certification in Radiology preferred; fellowship training in Body/Abdominal, Musculoskeletal, or Nuclear Medicine imaging is a plus
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• U.S. citizenship (non-citizens may be appointed when qualified citizens cannot be recruited)
