You'll lead a multi-disciplinary healthcare team, providing comprehensive primary care to Veterans enrolled in your panel. This role combines clinical excellence with the opportunity to serve those who've given so much. Here's what you'll be doing:
- Manage a panel of Primary Care patients, both male and female, providing comprehensive assessments, diagnostic workups, and clinical interventions
- Lead and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care
- Perform physical examinations, establish diagnoses, and respond appropriately to emergency health situations
- Order and evaluate diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and initiate referrals to specialty services when needed
- Document all patient encounters using the electronic Comprehensive Patient Record System (CPRS) on the day of service
- Promote preventive health measures and include patients and families in care planning with realistic, measurable goals
- Cover for colleagues' patients during their leave or travel, ensuring continuity of care
What you'll need to have:
- U.S. Citizenship (non-citizens may be appointed when qualified citizens cannot be recruited)
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an approved school
- Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. state or territory
- Completed residency training approved by ACGME, AOA, or equivalent
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical examination and background investigation

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Salary Range
$240,000 - $315,000 per year
Base Pay + Market Pay determined through formal pay-setting process
