You'll lead a multi-disciplinary healthcare team, providing comprehensive primary care to Veterans enrolled in your panel. Here's what you'll be doing:

• Manage a panel of Primary Care patients, both male and female, providing comprehensive assessments, diagnostic workups, and clinical interventions
• Lead and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care
• Perform physical examinations, establish diagnoses, and respond appropriately to emergency health situations
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and initiate referrals to specialty services when needed
• Document all patient encounters using the electronic Comprehensive Patient Record System (CPRS) on the day of service
• Promote preventive health measures and include patients and families in care planning with realistic, measurable goals
• Cover for colleagues' patients during their leave or travel, ensuring continuity of care

What you'll need to have:

• U.S. Citizenship (non-citizens may be appointed when qualified citizens cannot be recruited)
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an approved school
• Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. state or territory
• Completed residency training approved by ACGME, AOA, or equivalent
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical examination and background investigation
