Are you a primary care physician passionate about serving those who have served our country? The Central Arkansas VA is looking for you. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive, team-based care to Veterans at our North Little Rock campus. We support our physicians with incredible benefits, including up to $200,000 in student loan repayment (EDRP) and potential recruitment incentives.
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Provide comprehensive primary care, including diagnosing and managing a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to create and manage effective treatment plans.
- Conduct physical exams, manage patient histories, and lead a team-based approach to Veteran-centric care.
- Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare resources to ensure seamless continuity of care for your patients.
- Deliver preventive care, including health screenings, immunizations, and patient education on wellness and treatment plans.
What you'll need to have:
- A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited school.
- Completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- A current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. state.
- U.S. Citizenship and proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Board certification in Internal or Family Medicine and at least two years of recent clinical experience is preferred.
Job Details
Location: North Little Rock, AR, USA
Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Salary: $255,000 - $270,000 per year
