Primary Care Physician - Lake City VA | Up to $315K + Loan Repayment

The North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System is looking for a Primary Care Physician to join the team at the Lake City VA Medical Center. You'll provide comprehensive primary care services to Veterans, including physical exams, diagnostic testing, and both in-person and telehealth visits. Here's what you'll be doing:

• Perform comprehensive physical exams and provide ongoing primary care to Veterans
• Order and interpret laboratory, radiological, and diagnostic tests
• Complete vesting appointments for new patients when access levels require it
• Utilize telehealth video conferencing and telephone visits to expand patient access
• Document patient encounters using electronic medical records in accordance with policy
• Practice in accordance with professional standards of care and VA core values
• Participate in staff meetings, educational activities, and administrative duties as assigned

What you'll need to have:

• U.S. Citizenship (non-citizens may be appointed when qualified citizens cannot be recruited)
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent degree from an approved school
• Current, full, and unrestricted medical license from any U.S. state or territory
• Completed ACGME or AOA-accredited residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice preferred
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
