Primary Care Physician – Cincinnati VA | $250K + Sign-On Bonus

The Cincinnati VA Medical Center is hiring Primary Care Physicians to lead Patient Aligned Care Teams (PACT) at our main hospital and Community Based Outpatient Clinics. You'll be at the heart of a dedicated team that includes an RN, LPN, and clerical associate, all working together to provide outstanding care to Veterans. Here's what you'll be doing:

• Providing clinical examination, diagnosis, and treatment for a panel of primary care patients with acute and chronic conditions
• Delivering preventive care and coordinating care across specialties when needed
• Leading your PACT team to meet VA performance measures and ensure quality, effective care
• Documenting patient care appropriately in clinical records
• Assisting with resolving patient concerns and inquiries alongside the patient advocate and administration

What you'll need to have:

• U.S. Citizenship (non-citizens may be appointed when qualified citizens cannot be recruited)
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent degree from an approved school
• Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. state or territory
• Completed residency training approved by ACGME or AOA, leading to board eligibility
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Preferred: Board Eligibility or Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine; prior VA experience is a plus
