The VA Northern California Health Care System is looking for a skilled Orthopedic Surgeon to provide exceptional care to our nation's veterans. In this role, you'll diagnose and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal problems, perform surgery, and guide patient rehabilitation. $330,000 to $390,000 per year
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Diagnose musculoskeletal problems, prescribe treatments, and perform required surgeries for our veteran patients.
- Develop long-term strategies for treating illnesses and disorders of the bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, and muscles.
- Conduct and supervise direct patient care, including various non-surgical treatment options and rehabilitation planning.
- Instruct and educate residents, and collaborate with a team of radiologists, anesthesiologists, and physical therapists.
- Participate in an on-call schedule to provide continuous, high-quality orthopedic care.
What you'll need to have:
- A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Successful completion of an accredited residency program in Orthopedic Surgery.
- You must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Extensive experience in Arthroplasty is highly preferred.
- A current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State or Territory, and U.S. Citizenship.

Location:Mather, CA
Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (with occasional weekend or extended-hour clinics).
