The Northern Indiana Health Care System is seeking a skilled Neurologist to join their team in Fort Wayne, Indiana. In this pivotal role, you will manage the full spectrum of patient care across both outpatient and inpatient settings. You will operate within a "Whole Health System" model, which empowers Veterans to take charge of their well-being through personalized health plans and healing relationships.

Here's what you'll be doing:
- Manage patient care in outpatient clinics, medical wards, and ICU settings, including initial evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Provide expert consultation to other hospital sections and offer feedback and guidance to the Neurology Nurse Practitioner.
- Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic studies to ensure accurate and timely patient assessments.
- Participate in clinical leadership activities, including hospital committees, quality improvement projects, and patient flow initiatives.
- Educate patients and their families regarding their conditions and treatment options, ensuring a compassionate care environment.
What you'll need to have:
- United States Citizenship (non-citizens may be considered if no qualified citizens apply).
- A Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree from an approved institution.
- A current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in any US State or territory.
- Completion of an accredited residency training program in Neurology.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Neurology.

Schedule: Full-time, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Salary: $220,000 - $270,000 per year
