Gastroenterologist - Fargo ND - $365K–$400K + Loan Repayment

Description

Join the Fargo VA as a gastroenterologist and deliver high-quality GI care to our nation's veterans. You'll manage a full spectrum of digestive diseases in both clinic and hospital settings, perform bread-and-butter endoscopy (colonoscopy, EGD, flexible sigmoidoscopy), with ERCP welcomed but not required. Enjoy a predictable Monday-Friday schedule, no call, no nights, and no weekends.

Here's what you'll be doing:

• Provide outpatient consultations and follow-up for GERD, IBD, liver disease, IBS, pancreatitis, chronic diarrhea, and more
• Perform colonoscopy, EGD, flexible sigmoidoscopy (ERCP is a plus)
• Handle inpatient GI consults and procedures
• Write timely, thorough progress notes in CPRS and respond to patient calls/results
• Participate in performance improvement and teaching activities as needed

What you'll need to have:

• U.S. citizenship (non-citizens may be appointed when no qualified citizens are available)
• MD or DO from an accredited school
• Completed ACGME/ACOI-accredited internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship
• Board certified or board eligible in gastroenterology
• Full, unrestricted U.S. medical license (any state)
