🩺 1. Patient Assessment & Stabilization

• Quickly examine and stabilize patients upon arrival in the emergency room.

🔄 2. Monitor Recovery

• Track patient progress and conduct necessary follow-up evaluations.

🧪 3. Request & Analyze Tests

• Order labs or imaging (X-rays, CT scans, blood tests) to guide accurate treatment.

📋 4. Develop Treatment Plans

• Create effective emergency care strategies tailored to each patient’s condition.

🏥 5. Make Referrals

• Refer severely ill or specialized cases to relevant hospital departments.

✅ 6. Ensure Patient Stability Before Transfer

• Confirm the patient’s condition is stable before moving them to another unit.

📄 7. Discharge Planning & Paperwork

• Prepare discharge instructions and ensure all documents are completed properly.

🗂️ 8. Maintain Accurate Records

• Log patient visits and treatments into the hospital’s medical records system.

🤝 9. Team Collaboration

• Coordinate with ER nurses, lab techs, and radiologists to ensure seamless care delivery.

📋 Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine from a recognized institution.
• Completion of residency program (3–4 years) in Emergency Medicine or equivalent specialty.
• Valid license to practice medicine in the UAE (or eligibility for MOH/DHA/HAAD).
• Proven experience in ER or urgent care environments.
• Strong knowledge of life-saving procedures, trauma management, and emergency techniques.
• Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support).
• Analytical mindset, emotional resilience, and quick decision-making under stress.
• Excellent interpersonal and team coordination skills.
