🩺 Duties and Responsibilities – Consultant OB-GYN

🏥 1. Outpatient Services

Provide OB-GYN consultations and follow-ups in multiple clinic locations.

👶 2. Inpatient & Delivery Care

Manage hospital-based deliveries and perform surgeries related to childbirth and gynecological conditions.

📊 3. Clinical Outcomes Program

Contribute to quality improvement by meeting treatment and performance goals set by the organization.

⏱️ 4. Productivity Goals

Ensure efficient use of clinic hours by meeting expected patient consultation volumes.

🧾 5. Administrative Tasks

Review lab tests, update patient charts, and manage prescription refills in a timely manner.

📋 6. Compliance with Policies

Adhere to all medical practice policies, cost-effective treatment standards, and ensure clinical safety.

💻 7. EMR Documentation

Record all patient interactions and procedures accurately in the electronic medical records system.

👥 8. Attend Clinical Meetings

Participate in mandatory meetings and collaborate with the medical team to improve service quality.

📋 OB-GYN Requirements and Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted license to practice in the UAE (or eligibility to obtain).
• Specialization certificate in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in direct OB-GYN patient care.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends or evenings.
