Emergency Medicine Physician - Topeka KS - $250K–$400K + Loans

Description

Work true 12-hour shifts in a low-to-medium volume VA Emergency Department in Topeka. You'll see 30–50 patients per 24 hours, handle bread-and-butter EM with occasional higher-acuity cases, supervise APPs, and enjoy zero burnout with outstanding federal benefits and real work-life balance. No trauma designation, no nights for most docs, and call is almost never required.

Here's what you'll be doing:

• Provide direct patient care in the ED and Acute Medicine areas
• Supervise and clinically guide mid-level providers (PA/NP)
• Perform procedures, interpret studies, admit/transfer as needed
• Document thoroughly and participate in quality improvement
• Rarely take call – you're available only for true emergencies

What you'll need to have:

• MD or DO from an accredited school
• Completed residency in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
• Board certified or board eligible (any of the above specialties accepted)
• Full, unrestricted license in any U.S. state
• U.S. citizenship (non-citizens may be appointed if no qualified citizens apply)
