Ready to shape hospital strategy while keeping patients front and centre? As Deputy Director of Clinical Services you’ll steer daily operations at Joondalup Health Campus, leading Emergency and Mental Health teams, driving workforce planning and partnering with the executive to deliver first-class care across a 775-bed campus.
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Provide clinical and operational leadership for Emergency and Mental Health services.
- Drive workforce planning, roster optimisation and recruitment to meet service demand.
- Develop and execute strategic and business plans in partnership with the Director of Clinical Services.
- Lead accreditation, risk and quality improvement initiatives for safe, high-quality care.
- Manage budgets, analyse service performance and champion continuous improvement campus-wide.
What you'll need to have:
- Current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Post-graduate qualification in management or leadership.
- 5+ years in senior nursing management within an acute hospital.
- Proven success in strategic planning, workforce analysis and policy development.
- Strong financial acumen plus deep knowledge of accreditation and clinical risk management.
