Cardiac Anesthesiologist - Denver CO - $395K–$400K

Description

Do true cardiac anesthesia (CABG, valves, TAVR, robotic mitral, ECMO) in a brand-new, state-of-the-art OR at the Rocky Mountain Regional VA – the flagship hospital of the VA system. You'll have a perfect blend of complex hearts and healthy general cases, teach CU anesthesia residents, read your own TEEs, and still be home for dinner every night. $395K–$400K, light call, and live minutes from downtown Denver and the best skiing in the world.

Here's what you'll be doing:

• Provide full-spectrum cardiac anesthesia: on-pump CABG, valves, TAVR, minimally invasive mitral, aortic surgery, ECMO
• Perform and interpret your own TEEs (basic + advanced PTEeXAM required)
• Cover healthy general, ortho, ENT, and regional cases the rest of the week
• Teach and mentor University of Colorado anesthesia residents daily
• Take very light, paid cardiac call from home (backed by residents/CRNAs)

What you'll need to have:

• MD or DO with completed ACGME anesthesiology residency
• Completed ACGME cardiac anesthesia fellowship (or equivalent experience)
• Board certified in anesthesiology; TEE certification (basic + advanced)
• Full, unrestricted license in any U.S. state
• U.S. citizenship preferred (non-citizens may be considered)
