The James A. Haley VA Medical Center is looking for an experienced and dynamic Physician to join our Diagnostic Imaging Service with a focus on Breast Imaging. This is more than just a clinical role. Here's what you'll be doing:
- Protocol and interpret a variety of breast imaging studies, including mammograms, breast ultrasounds, and breast MRIs.
- Perform breast procedures such as stereotactic, ultrasound, and MRI-guided biopsies, as well as Savi Scout localization.
- Consult and collaborate with breast surgeons and primary care teams to recommend optimal treatment options.
- Work closely with technologists in mammography, ultrasound, and MRI to ensure the highest quality of imaging.
- Teach and mentor University of South Florida residents, many of whom hold academic appointments.
What you'll need to have:
- United States Citizenship (Non-citizens may be appointed if qualified citizens are not available).
- Current, full, and unrestricted medical license from any US State or territory.
- Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Completion of residency training in an accredited core specialty training program.
- Preferred: Fellowship training in Breast Imaging and 3 years of practice experience.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Salary Range$315,333 - $400,000 per year
