The Orlando VA Healthcare System is looking for an experienced Anesthesiologist to join our growing team. Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Managing acute perioperative pain, including performing peripheral nerve blocks under ultrasound guidance
  • Conducting specialized interventional pain management procedures under fluoroscopic guidance, such as facet injections, medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablation, epidurals, and joint blocks
  • Performing neuromodulation techniques like spinal cord stimulation and implanting drug delivery systems
  • Providing acute pain care for surgical and non-surgical inpatients, plus comprehensive outpatient pain management in a multidisciplinary clinic
  • Meeting continuing medical education requirements and participating in morbidity and mortality conferences, staff meetings, and mock examinations

What you'll need to have:

  • U.S. Citizenship (non-citizens may be appointed when qualified citizens cannot be recruited)
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent degree from an approved school
  • Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. state or territory
  • Completed residency training approved by ACGME or AOA, leading to board eligibility
  • Board Certification in Anesthesiology
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English

Job Details

Location: Orlando, FL

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Salary Range:

$340,000 - $400,000 per year

Plus annual performance bonus
