🏥 Work Responsibilities

  • Provide care to ambulatory oncology patients undergoing radiation therapy
  • Support in-patient care as needed during radiation treatment
  • Join a team of radiation oncologists and allied health professionals
  • Focus on treatment continuity, clinical follow-up, and care coordination
  • Flexible scheduling up to 1.0 FTE, shared part-time setup possible

📚 Training & Support

  • No prior radiation oncology experience required
  • BC Cancer will provide:
    • Didactic virtual education
    • In-clinic mentorship and patient-specific instruction

📍 Eligibility Requirements

  • Eligible for full medical licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC (CPSBC)
  • Canadian certification: FRCP, FRCS, or CCFP
  • Eligible for appointments to:
    • BC Cancer medical staff
    • Royal Jubilee Hospital
    • University of British Columbia (UBC) (for optional academic involvement)
  • Experience in oncology or inpatient care is an asset, not required
