📋 Full Job Description:

🔍 Position Overview:

• A full-time Consultant role in the Department of Plastic Surgery.
• Focus on aesthetic and reconstructive interventions using the latest technology.

🩺 Key Responsibilities:

• Perform surgical procedures including:
  • Reconstructive surgery for trauma and cancer patients
  • Elective cosmetic enhancements (e.g. facial, body aesthetic surgery)
  • Microsurgical flap reconstructions
• Evaluate and manage cases including congenital deformities and complicated wound closures.
• Develop tailored surgical plans optimizing both aesthetics and function.
• Use advanced technologies such as robotic-assisted and minimally invasive techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-departmental teams: dermatologists, oncologists, orthopedic surgeons.
• Counsel patients on surgical options, recovery plans, and lifelong care.
• Participate in clinical research and contribute to medical advancements in the field.
• Adhere to SCFHS regulations and international best practices in surgical care.

🎓 Requirements:

• MD or equivalent degree from a reputable institution.
• Board Certification in Plastic Surgery (UK CCT / American Board / Canadian Board mandatory).
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant in Plastic Surgery.
• Proven abilities in cosmetic, trauma, and reconstructive procedures.
• Focused on excellence in outcome-based patient care.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
• Eligible for Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) medical license.
