📋 Full Job Description:

🔍 Position Overview:

  • Full-time Consultant position in a specialized Emergency Medicine Department.
  • Designed for physicians capable of high-pressure critical care situations.

🩺 Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and manage medical emergencies: trauma, cardiac arrest, stroke, respiratory failure, etc.
  • Perform lifesaving procedures including:
    • Endotracheal intubation
    • Emergency resuscitation
    • Central venous catheter insertion
    • Chest tube placement
  • Rapidly triage and stabilize patients in critical condition.
  • Develop protocol-driven management plans based on evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with ICU, surgical, neurology, and anesthesiology teams.
  • Use advanced diagnostic and imaging tools available in the ER.
  • Engage in academic and research activities aimed at improving emergency care services.
  • Ensure optimal documentation and compliance with Saudi medical regulations and hospital licensure.

🎓 Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent).
  • Board-Certified in Emergency Medicine (UK CCT, American Board, or Canadian Board).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience at Consultant level in Emergency Medicine.
  • Skilled in emergency airway, trauma management, and life support.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills for high-stakes situations.
  • Must be eligible for licensure through the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
  • Committed to ongoing medical education and implementing international best practices.
