Sutter Coast Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Medical/Surgical unit, with a generous sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available. You will be accountable for the assessment, coordination, and delivery of holistic nursing care. This role involves providing direct patient care, educating patients and families, and fostering collaborative relationships to ensure an optimal patient experience in a dynamic acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct, individualized nursing care, including assessment, intervention, and evaluation.
• Develop, implement, and coordinate comprehensive plans of care that incorporate psychological, spiritual, and life-style factors.
• Provide patient and family education and manage effective transitions of care.
• Foster collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, industry standards, and best practices to ensure patient safety.
• Prioritize patient care and assignments effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent, relevant experience in a medical-surgical or acute care setting.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of California.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
