Sutter Medical Center Sacramento is seeking a skilled and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. This is a full-time, daytime position offering competitive pay, a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible external candidates, and outstanding benefits. You’ll perform specialized interventional radiology procedures, producing high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

What You’ll Do

• Perform routine and specialized interventional radiology procedures using advanced imaging equipment
• Work independently with sound judgment and precise clinical skills
• Provide excellent patient care through assessment, monitoring, and communication with patients and families
• Adhere to federal, state, and hospital regulations, ensuring safety and privacy (HIPAA)
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals
• Assist with training/orientation of new team members as needed

What You’ll Bring

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• BLS – Basic Life Support (Healthcare Provider)
• CRT – Certified Radiologic Technologist

Preferred Experience:

• 5 years of relevant clinical and practical experience in a similar environment

Skills & Knowledge:

• Knowledge of interventional radiology principles, procedures, and equipment
• Ability to respond to trauma and emergencies
• Understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Strong communication skills, including explaining sensitive information to non-medical audiences
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and hospital systems (RIS, LIS, EHR, EPIC, PACS)
• Excellent time management, organization, and problem-solving skills
