California Pacific Medical Center is seeking an experienced Staff Nurse II for our Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU). You will be responsible for providing and coordinating comprehensive, high-acuity nursing care for critically ill patients. This role requires the delivery of holistic, individualized care, and fostering collaborative relationships with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct, high-acuity nursing care to critically ill patients in the MSICU.
• Perform continuous critical care assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Manage advanced life-support and monitoring equipment for patients with complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Collaborate effectively with intensivists, surgeons, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide patient and family education and support in a high-stress critical care environment.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, industry standards, and best practices for critical care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
• Experience with Neuro and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) is preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of California.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and prioritization skills.
