California Pacific Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to support our Critical Care Service Line. Under the supervision of an intensivist, you will be responsible for assessing and managing the medical care of patients in the ICU. This role requires collaboration with physicians and nursing staff to ensure continuity and coordination of care, adherence to best practices, and a commitment to continuous growth in advanced nursing practice. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is being offered, and new graduates are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and manage the medical care of critically ill patients in collaboration with the supervising physician.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and formulate treatment plans.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff, referring physicians, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, industry standards, and state regulations to promote a quality patient experience.
• Engage in continuous professional development to maintain and advance clinical skills.
• Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with standardized procedures and protocols.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of California.
• National Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification.
• Must obtain Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) certification within 1 year of hire.
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of five (5) years of RN experience in Critical Care or Emergency Nursing is preferred.
