Sutter Care at Home is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) for our Hospice team. In this vital role, you will provide personal care, comfort, and support to homebound patients, helping them meet their hygiene and activities of daily living (ADL) needs. You will be an essential part of a team dedicated to providing comfort and dignity to patients at the end of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and other hygiene needs.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) as outlined in their care plan.
• Perform related non-professional household services to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for the patient.
• Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and their families.
• Observe and report any changes in the patient's condition to the nursing team.
• Recognize and address the special needs and concerns of diverse patient groups.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Current Home Health Aide (HHA) certification in California.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent, relevant experience.
• Valid California Driver's License and current automobile insurance.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, universal precautions, and healthcare practices.
