Description
On behalf of our client, a leading packaging company in the UAE, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to launch and lead their new Pharmaceutical Packaging division. This is a high-growth potential role where you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all sales activities to drive revenue and establish a strong market presence in the pharmaceutical sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion for pharma packaging solutions (blister packs, vials, closures, etc.).
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including pharmaceutical manufacturers and contract packaging firms.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and timely resolution of concerns.
- Collaborate with design, production, and regulatory teams to develop customized and compliant packaging solutions.
- Present tailored proposals and manage the full sales cycle from quotation to order confirmation.
- Stay current with industry trends, packaging innovations, and regulatory updates (e.g., GMP, ISO).
- Represent the organization at industry trade shows and conferences to generate new business leads.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical packaging sales or a closely related field.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing complex client relationships in the region.
- Strong network of contacts within pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Familiarity with the technical and regulatory aspects of pharma packaging (GMP, ISO standards).
- Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel across the region as required.
