💼 Position Overview:

• One-year full-time Colorectal Post Graduate Fellowship for the 2026 clinical year.
• Based at Canberra Hospital, part of Canberra Health Services (CHS).
• Open to medical professionals who are PGY7+ by February 2026.
• Possibility of extension beyond initial 12 months.

🏥 About the Department:

• The Colorectal Unit falls under the General Surgery Department.
• Consists of three CSSANZ-accredited colorectal surgeons.
• Services delivered across two major public hospitals in the ACT.
• Surgery types include open, laparoscopic, and endoscopic.

🔧 Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality medical care specific to colorectal surgery.
• Engage in multidisciplinary interactions and clinical decision-making.
• Participate in surgical theatre, inpatient care, and outpatient clinics.
• Support teaching and research as part of the tertiary hospital operation.
