📍 Reporting To

  • Senior Medical Director, Gynecology & Sexual Health

📍 Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical care to patients at the Complex Menopause Clinic (CMC) using evidence-based and patient-centered approaches.
  • Apply the latest research in menopause care, ensuring clinical practices meet national and regional guidelines.
  • Participate in education and mentorship related to menopause and midlife women’s health.
  • Contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives and research programs in collaboration with the Women’s Health Research Institute (WHRI).
  • Foster networks within healthcare, enhancing interdisciplinary care models.
  • Engage in leadership activities, both clinically and academically, within the scope of the BCW and PHSA systems.

📍 Qualifications & Experience

🎓 Required

  • Advanced training in menopause care and certified as a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP).
  • Proven experience in developing or applying menopause care guidelines at regional/national levels.
  • Background in education and/or clinical research related to menopause.
  • Registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC).

    Certified by:

    • College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) or
    • Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC).

📘 Preferred

  • Eligible for or holds a faculty appointment at the University of British Columbia (UBC).

 

🎓 Degree Level

  • MD with specialization in Family Medicine or Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • MSCP (Menopause Society Certified Practitioner)
