🏥 Work Environment & Responsibilities

  • Join five fellowship-trained Pediatric ENT Surgeons at a state-of-the-art freestanding children’s hospital (built 2017)
  • Provide the full spectrum of tertiary Pediatric Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery services
  • Serve patients from BC and the Yukon (population ~5.1 million)
  • Participate in:
    • Dedicated OR time
    • Multidisciplinary clinics
    • Outreach services to Indigenous communities
    • Research and teaching (UGME, residency, fellowship level)
    • 1 in 6 call rotation

📍 Eligibility Requirements

  • Completed fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery
  • Certification in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery by RCPSC or equivalent
  • Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC)
  • Eligible for appointment to UBC’s Department of Surgery, Division of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery
  • Preferred: Experience in advanced pediatric otologic procedures and training in clinical research, education, or quality improvement
