Baycrest’s Kimel Family Centre for Brain Health and Wellness is the first research-based community center focused on personalized dementia risk reduction programming for individuals aged 50+. Patients undergo full risk assessments and are prescribed custom health programs.

Reporting to the Program Manager, the Administrative & Research Support Assistant will provide vital organizational, clerical, and research support to staff and programs, playing a key role in maintaining effective operations and high-quality client experience.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to program staff
  • Assist with research assessment bookings & participant coordination
  • Schedule meetings, events, and coordinate staff/trainee logistics
  • Maintain tidiness, readiness, and materials at the Centre
  • Update client information, program rosters, and contact lists
  • Support committee activities and disseminate contracts/payroll
  • Assist with applications for program and research funding
  • Receive and secure membership/service payments and issue refunds
  • Manage office mail, deliveries, and visitor security
  • Adhere to internal policies and confidentiality practices

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree, diploma, or certificate in administration or related fields
  • 3–5 years of experience in admin and/or research support
  • Experience working with older adults and research participant coordination
  • Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Adobe
  • Comfortable using billing, registration, and attendance systems
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking ability
  • Familiarity with SPSS, Telehealth, webinars, and emerging digital tools
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and uphold data confidentiality
  • Experience conducting meeting prep: agendas, presentation material, and taking minutes
