Sutter Solano Medical Center is seeking an experienced Staff Nurse II for our Medical/Surgical unit. You will be accountable for the assessment, coordination, and delivery of holistic nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and care transitions. This role is essential for providing individualized care and fostering collaborative relationships to ensure an optimal patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct, individualized nursing care to a diverse patient population in an acute care setting.
• Develop, implement, and coordinate comprehensive plans of care that incorporate psychological, spiritual, and life-style factors.
• Provide patient and family education and manage effective transitions of care.
• Foster collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely communication.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, industry standards, and best practices to ensure patient safety.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to prioritize patient care and solve complex problems.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent, relevant experience in a medical-surgical or acute care setting.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of California.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of nursing theories, best practices, and patient safety policies.
