NMC Royal Hospital is seeking a skilled General Practitioner with experience in Cardiology to join our specialized department. Working under the supervision of a specialist, you will monitor and treat patients, direct preventive care, and provide integrated curative services. This role is essential for assessing patients, responding to emergencies, and ensuring comprehensive care in line with DHA and JCI standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for all patients on admission and throughout their stay in the Cardiology department.
• Identify and respond to emergencies, providing rapid treatment and consulting with specialists as needed.
• Examine in-patients upon request, providing immediate judgment and treatment.
• Complete and maintain accurate, complete, and confidential medical records and case histories.
• Provide health counseling to patients and advise nursing personnel on medical problems.
• Perform duties in outpatient clinics as required and provide on-call coverage for the ICU.
• Adhere strictly to all DHA regulations and Joint Commission International (JCI) norms.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved Medical School with 2 years of residency training and 1 year of internship.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a General Practitioner.
• Current licensure in country of origin and a valid DHA license to practice in Dubai, UAE.
• Must be ACLS or ATLS certified.
• Thorough knowledge of medical ethics and patient confidentiality.
• Excellent command of oral and written English; knowledge of Arabic is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
