NMC Royal Hospital (DIP), Dubai is hiring a Specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon to deliver comprehensive surgical care across outpatient and inpatient settings, including pre‑ and post‑operative management, within credentialed scope.

Key responsibilities:

Provide diligent surgical care, including pre/post‑op, for assigned patients
Perform OPD clinics; offer consults to physicians/surgeons on in/outpatients
Take after‑hours/on‑call responsibility; conduct daily rounds for admitted patients
Consult with anesthesiologists on anesthesia plans
Refer/consult for cases needing higher subspecialty expertise
Maintain complete, accurate clinical records and documentation
Adhere to department bylaws and JCI standards
Contribute to in‑service education, M&M, peer review, audits, and chart reviews
Perform other duties as requested by the HOD
Qualifications:

Medical degree from an approved school + internship; 4‑year General Surgery residency
American Board of Surgery or FRCS (or equivalent)
Formal 2–3 years’ Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery training (incl. maxillofacial, microsurgery, cleft, head & neck cancer, limb/soft tissue trauma, hand); Board certification/eligibility in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (or equivalent)
Experience in trauma and all phases of general surgery; 3+ years’ post‑cert practice
Current license in country of origin and DHA license to practice as Specialist Plastic Surgeon in Dubai
Excellent English; Arabic desirable; strong ethics, confidentiality, and interpersonal skills
