American Hospital Dubai is looking for a proactive and patient-focused Staff Nurse to join our Primary Care & Vaccination clinic. You will be at the forefront of preventative health, providing direct patient care, administering vaccinations, and performing various diagnostic tests for our adult and geriatric populations. This role is essential for promoting patient wellness and coordinating care within a multi-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer a wide range of vaccinations to patients according to established protocols.
• Perform diagnostic tests including nasal swabs for Influenza and Respiratory Viral Panels, and Point-of-Care (POC) Rapid Strep tests.
• Conduct health screenings such as visual acuity and color vision tests.
• Assist with women's health procedures, including Pap smears, within the scope of practice.
• Perform patient care procedures such as earwax removal.
• Conduct comprehensive, age-specific patient assessments and coordinate care plans with the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in compliance with hospital and JCI standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (minimum 3-year full-time course duration).
• Minimum of two (2) years of recent post-graduate experience in a Primary Care setting.
• Must hold a valid license/registration to practice in your home country and/or country of last employment.
• A valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) is essential.
• Strong skills in patient assessment, care coordination, and prioritization.
• Experience in administering vaccinations and performing diagnostic swabs is highly desirable.
