American Hospital Dubai is seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Nurse for our Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Clinic. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive, patient-centered care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. This role involves coordinating patient care, assisting with a wide range of gynecological procedures, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for women's health services.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with in-office gynecological procedures such as Colposcopy, Cryotherapy, Endometrial Biopsy, and IUD insertions/removals.
• Support minor surgical procedures including the excision of Bartholin cysts and cervical polyps.
• Perform Cardiotocography (CTG) monitoring for obstetric patients.
• Conduct comprehensive, age-specific patient assessments and collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to create and manage care plans.
• Involve patients and their families in the plan of care, providing education and addressing their physical and psychological needs.
• Maintain a safe and sterile environment, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly managed.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all patient care in compliance with hospital and JCI standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (minimum 3-year full-time course duration).
• Minimum of two (2) years of recent post-graduate experience in an Obstetrics and Gynecology setting.
• Must hold a valid license/registration to practice in your home country and/or country of last employment.
• A valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) is essential.
• Strong skills in patient assessment and care coordination, particularly in women's health.
• Experience assisting with gynecological procedures is highly desirable.
